SAUVEUR MALLIA - COSMOSYNTHETIC VOL.2

Track 1 - Synthetic Geometry
Track 2 - Spacial Hexagone
Track 3 - Cosmos Angle
Track 4 - Rectangle Astral
Track 5 - Pentagone Stop
Track 6 - Trapeze One
Track 7 - Grand Index
Track 8 - Digital Triangle
Track 9 - Double Polygone
Track 10 - Point Quartz

Cosmosynthetic Vol.2 released on Telemusic in 1981 sees Sauveur Mallia swapping the space themed titles of Vol.1 for geometric references. The album is still similar in tone to the first volume but probably strays a bit further into trippy / ambient territory. I think it's a bit of a shame there isn't more bass guitar used ( or at least the synthesizer equivalent ) because a track like "Double Polygone" clearly demonstrates the advantage of having a solid bass foundation.

This is a reasonable record without reaching any great heights but for those of you who dig the early 80's synth library sound there should be enough to keep you entertained. You can also download Cosmosynthetic Vol.1 here. Please note - it appears Track 4 is corrupted on this rip but I have located a YouTube video for "Rectangle Astral" which you can view below...
